Becoming an ACA Kayak Instructor is an excellent way to develop and hone your teaching and instructing skills. Level 1 and Level 2 instructors work with beginner to novice paddlers as they learn the fundamentals and begin to apply them in nearshore venues.

About the event
The American Canoe Association Level 1-2 Kayak Instructor course covers rescues, personal paddling, session planning and delivery, observation and feedback, and risk assessment. Below are links to the ACA website for more information about becoming an instructor and types of courses offered:
