About the event
This is the Advanced WFA Part 1 course. This may also be used solely as a WFA if not completing Part 2. As a WFA it is the perfect course for the outdoor enthusiast or trip leader who wants a basic level of first aid training for short trips with family, friends, and outdoor groups. It also meets the American Camping Association guidelines for camp staff. Upon successful completion of the course, individuals are awarded a 2 year certification from SOLO.

- Environmental emergencies
- Survival skills
- Soft-tissue injuries
- Medical emergencies
- Practical assessment
